my travel faves
part two of a mini summer travel series
Traveling light isn’t my default setting so I’ve learned some pro-tips and LOVE them. Road trips or air travel, I’ve learned traveling light is life-giving.
This is part two of my summer travel series. Part 1 is linked here — Rollers in my carry-on and the Top 3 in my purse.
PSA — the Rose Hydrosol Mist is in stock in Canada! A top favourite of mine, I just ordered several. I do a luxurious 8 sprays before my face oil in the morning & eve.

Some of my favourites…
Backpack with a strap to sit on my carryon bag. I have the lululemon backpack and love.
- Packing cubes to organize and fit more in, mine are Monos.
- dōTERRA minis & samples: - Deep Blue rub, - On Guard toothpaste, - shampoo & conditioner minis - On Guard hand sanitizing wipes - On Guard hand sanitizer. I prefer the spray for air travel as the gel can explode.
Mini Fractionated Coconut Oil for dilution
 Peppermint Beadlets for heat!
- dōTERRA Verage face wash (it’s under 100mL) and Sensitive Skin Carrier blend for face oil — blend in any essential oil you love & bring.
- SPF Sun Stick: one in everyone’s backpack
- mini DIY travel bottle of dōTERRA On Guard cleaner concentrate for instant spot treatment of stains with an old small toothbrush (so pro!)
- dōTERRA supplements are super convenient, with most in sachets. I bring one Advantage Collagen sachet/day and one VMG+ vitamins/minerals/greens for each day. PB Restore pixie sticks for the girls digestion. All in a ziplock.
In my small supplement cases I have…
AM case — PB Restore (probiotic) and 2 EOMega (fish oils)
PM case — 4 Magnesium Glycinate capsules and 1 EO Mega (fish oil)
DAILY — Terrazyme Digestive Enzymes at the ready for heavy meals or to support my digestion when I’m eating things I usually don’t eat 🥐
- Vitamin D is in liquid format. I roll up in a thin wash cloth in a ziplock. We all take it every morning.
- Kindle! I used to carry books. LOL. I’m on book 6 of 7 of The Seven Sisters.
- Stainless Steel 18oz water bottle with a solid lid that doesn’t spill. My fave is a YETI with a handle screw top. Fits on the side of the lululemon backpack.
- iPhone strap for easy phone access while traveling. I LOVE mine. Like anything, you can go fancy or basic here.
- Pack a large light-weight canvas tote for day-trips, snacks and “extras”
- Take a video of your carry-on packed with all of the cubes to help you efficiently re-pack when you’re off again!
Tell me your fave tips for road trips, travel, all the things! It feels fun to share. I want to know your pro-tips!
And a reminder if you want to join me sipping collagen everyday from Solstice to Labour Day, here’s our small and fun WhatsApp group to tune in for inspiration! It’s easy-breezy.
