oils in my carry-on

part one of a mini summer travel series

Summer is here! Have you been diffusing Endless Summer? I can’t get enough in the mini Pebble diffuser. Nina, a fellow oil lover describes it as “it reminds me of my childhood, chewing big wads of bubblegum on my front stoop in the summer, blowing bubbles with my bestie.”

We are traveling for these first few weeks and I’m sharing what’s in my roller pouch and a few other fun travel and packing tips.

I love learning how other women travel light — oils, supplements, packing tips, etc, so I’ve created a 2-part email series for you to enjoy mine.

This post — rollers for travel.

Up next — supplements, packing tips and faves.

I can’t wait for your replies sharing your tips with me!

Travel rollers:

Rollers are essential for travel because they’re pre-diluted, easy to grab and the girls can easily use themselves. Whether it’s a road trip or a flight, mine are right with me.

I also recommend a cute roller pouch, and organizing by the rainbow 🌈 for extra JOY.

Rose — always on hand for allll the things (heart and body) as Rose carries the highest frequency (MHz) of any plant on the planet. I roll on for emotional soothing, over the heart for heart connection and on my face for skin glow.

Neroli — I don’t leave home without it! My favourite aroma; it brings me back inward and I love anointing my face and inner wrists for connection. I use it when I need a moment alone to breathe and reconnect.

Helichrysum — known as a “liquid bandaid” I always have helichrysum close for burns, scrapes, cuts, bites, skin situations. Also supportive for emotional pain, trauma, and lifting density I feel. Very handy. Saved me once this trip.

Balance — for grounding. It often takes me a few days to “sink in” to where I am, especially with a time change. Balance on my soles and inner wrists morning and bedtime helps me to ground smoothly and feel like I am where I am.

Peppermint — rolled on my temples for headaches and jet lag is my favourite. Also brilliant on the soles and the spine for cooling in extreme heat. We’ve been using it in the thick heat. Also a refreshing JOY enhancer!

Console — for the girls for emotional support. We roll on their spines, soles and inner wrists for inhalation. It remains my #1 go-to for supporting my kids because of its quick supportive results for the many emotional things that continually arise.

Rollers in my purse for quick access:

  1. Our digestion duo Zengest (DigestZen) and Tamer. For digestive support while traveling (all of which someone has had so far): stomach aches, nausea, diarrhea, constipation.

  2. Lavender. For rest when jet-lagged and for bug bites and sunburns. My girls ask for it daily. (I also have a full post here on Lavender uses)

  3. Clary Calm. For hormone balancing of my cycle. I reach for it mostly when I’m Luteal and day 1-4, but also use it throughout the month if I feel unbalanced especially when traveling.

Tell me your fave tips for road trips, travel, all the things. It feels fun to share. I want to know your pro-tips!

And a reminder if you want to join me sipping collagen from Solstice to Labour Day, here’s the link to join our small and fun WhatsApp group to tune in for inspiration and fun recipes! Today’s was with bubbly water over ice in a wine goblet!

I’m here for all the collagen and rollie questions (plus a full post here on That Rollie Life).

Summer love your way,
Christine
